Now that you have made the smart choice to have your property Powered by INNsight, we want to make sure you are getting the most out of all the tools available within the system.
This week, learn how to manage hotel inventory and check in guests
You can access your inventory information in several ways. From the Room Board tab, from the GRID tab located on the upper right corner just below the search filters, or move your cursor over “Check-In” at the top of the page, and select Room Management from the pull down menu.
The Room Management Tab displays both the ROOM BOARD and the GRID or Graphical Room Inventory Display. You can easily view your property's inventory and its status visually and even manipulate reservations simply by clicking on the cells in the GRID or ROOM BOARD.

Simply right click on guest name and select “View Details”By clicking the left and right arrows, you can quickly navigate between dates on the GRID and visually see how your property's inventory is occupied.
In order to check in a guest, you can simply right click on the GRID cell and select “View Details”, select the guest's name from the “Today's Arrivals” list, or Select the guest's name from the Room Board
With each method, you will automatically be directed to the selected guest's reservation information.
Grid View: Simply right click on guest name and select “View Details”
You can select the guest's name from the “Today's Arrival” list located to the left of the Room Board.

When the selected guest's reservation information is on screen, simply select the green “Check In” tab at the top right of the page.
